Robert joined the firm in 2011. As a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, Rob has attained the prestigious CFP® certification, one of the most respected financial planning credentials among consumers and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning. In addition, as a Chartered Financial Consultant®, he has specialized training in advanced financial planning. In addition, he has specialized training in advanced financial planning, due to his Chartered Financial Consultant® designation.

He has been helping families achieve their financial goals and manage their financial lives for more than 20 years. As a portfolio manager, Rob is continually looking for better ways to invest on behalf of his clients.

Prior to joining Morse Capital Partners, he was a dual employee of Keiter, Stephens, Hurst, Gary & Shreaves and Capital Advisory Group for more than nine years. As a manager at Keiter Stephens, he assisted clients on a fee-only basis with a variety of financial planning needs including retirement, stock options, estate and insurance. As a senior consultant at Capital Advisory Group, he was a member of the research committee and assisted clients with their investment needs.

Rob began his career in financial planning in 1996 at American Express Financial Advisors. After three years, he joined PIE Technology, where he assisted in the design and development of the MoneyGuide Pro financial planning software. While there, he also completed the requirements for the Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP®).

Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Rob spent five years as a commercial real estate appraiser in Charlotte, North Carolina. He earned a B.A. in Finance from Saint Andrews Presbyterian College and an M.A. in Real Estate from the University of Florida.

Rob is a native of Richmond and lives here today. In his free time, he enjoys kiteboarding, mountain biking, paddle boarding, kayaking and scuba diving.
